A Historic Aggie Comeback + Your Local Week Starts Here…
Good morning, Aggieland. Hopefully we have all recovered from that weekend football scare (whew; also today marks the first issue of our weekly recap of local sports events). Also, make sure to hold onto to your pennies - who knows, maybe in 30 years they will be worth something?
In today’s Aggieland Now:

Bonfire Remembrance
🔥 Texas A&M's Tradition Council invites Aggies to honor the legacy of the 12 students who lost their lives in the 1999 Bonfire collapse. The overnight remembrance begins at midnight in the Administration Building lobby, where attendees can reflect on the lives and contributions of those who passed (yes, coffee is provided). At precisely 2:42 am—the moment when the original structure fell—a formal ceremony will take place at the Bonfire Memorial. This annual tradition serves as a powerful reminder of the Aggie spirit that continues to unite the community through both celebration and remembrance.
WHAT’S HAPPENIN’
